Fresh off the heels of our beautiful 5K celebrating my 72nd birthday and in celebration of Great Cancer Awareness Month, I’m excited to announce our next Aging Blackwards wellness event!
As a Fitness Icon & Anti-Aging Expert, my mission is to empower you to live a vibrant, healthy life at any age. No matter WHAT!
Anyone who knows me, knows just how directly my life has been affected by cancer. At just 62 years old, my Mother lost her life to uterine cancer. And I was shocked years later when my beautiful daughter @leahtaylorstyle was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at just 27 years old! 27!
Being a witness to the effects of chemotherapy and radiation changed my family’s life unexpectedtly, and ever since, I’ve been more committed than ever to promoting wellness and support through our events at Aging Blackwards.
As a gym owner of over 30 years, I’ve witnessed so many of my beautiful girls come to me with the devastating news of a breast cancer diagnosis. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, and we’ve overcome!
This month, my daughter Leah celebrates 20 years of being cancer free!
And like so many other Pink Warriors, her strength, will power, and resilence deserves to be celebrated everyday!
